Feedback on question 1 responses, more preproduction planning for both groups and group boards up and running in C6. A very productive couple of hours. HOME LEARNING Both groups are continuing to work well but we need to make sure that the momentum is maintained. Both groups now have scripts and a cast. We need to make sure that all blog entries are up to date and that all material is included. We now need detailed work on scouting locations and compiling storyboards, shot lists, camera diagrams and schedules so that we can be in a position to slot everything together over the summer.
Both groups are really progressing well. Most of you have already noticed that I have placed a button on the right hand side of the blog called Portfolio Tasks. This will take you through to a list of tasks for each of the products that you need to produce. Your focus at the moment should be on the early pre-production work and you should be trying to complete as much as possible. You have all considered locations and need to look into contacting those people that own or are in charge of the land i.e. sheffield council. You might also need to consider budgeting for your production - so that we can start fund raising as soon as possible and we will know how much is needed/being spent. All of you need to be completing the analysis of the short films that are in the corresponding playlists available through the YouTube channel. Remember that you need to do two of these.
As a side point there have been some technical difficulties with the websites - especially blog pages. Chris may have found a solution so can you all go into your sites, unpublished them and then republish them. Remember to check the Twitter feed and read, watch some of the information that it being posted. If it is useful then post it to your blog and reflect on how you are going to use it. New Year...New Challenges It is good to see so many of you keen to return and get on with next year's production. We already have a script from one group and are someway to completing plans for what will be the most adventurous Year 13 film shoots EVER!
